The third single from Metallica's seventh studio album, 'ReLoad,' is also the third music video released from the album. Wayne Isham, the man behind the video for 'Enter Sandman,' again teamed up with the band to direct the video for 'Fuel.' Filmed in Tokyo, Japan, 'Fuel' premiered to fans on May 14, 1998.
More than six years after 'The Unforgiven' was released on Metallica's self-titled 1991 album, the band unleashed the next episode of the song series with 'The Unforgiven II' on 'ReLoad.' To accompany the second single from that album, Metallica partnered back up with Matt Mahurin to direct the music video.
Making its debut on Nov. 4, 1997, the music video for the first single from 1997's 'ReLoad' features Metallica front-and-center in an intensely dreamlike setting. 'The Memory Remains' was directed by Paul Andersen and reportedly cost $400,000 to film.
