Metallica Want Your Ticket Stubs, Photos + More For Upcoming ‘Load’ / ‘Reload’ Box Set

Metallica want your help in curating their next deluxe box set.

You heard that right: Fans are invited to submit their photos, ticket stubs and whatever else they have from the Load and Reload eras for the chance at being part of Metallica's next deluxe box set.

The band sent an email out to fans today making the request.

We’re working our way through the catalog to bring you the comprehensive Deluxe Box Sets we’ve come to love. And now it’s time to get started on Load and ReLoad!

As you may remember, we asked you for help in putting together the first five box sets and, to make sure there’s a fan footprint on all of these releases, we’ll be doing that again!

We’re looking for anything and everything you might have from August 1995 through September 1998: live photos (taken by you!) or snaps from a meet & greet, flyers, ticket stubs, backstage passes, and whatever other mementos you may have from that time.

If you want to contribute, all you have to do is send an email to submissions@metclub.com and then they'll follow up with the next steps. Who knows, maybe your memento will show up in the box set for Load and Reload!

As Metallica put it in their email, "Nothing is too small or trivial; share your archives with your fellow fans and have some fun walking down memory lane with us!"

No other details were released about the combined Load and Reload deluxe box set. But 2022 marks the 25th anniversary of Reload—is it possible that we'll see the set released later this year?
