As part of the 2003 edition of Metallica's Summer Sanitarium Tour - the first tour ran in 2000 - this week's free download comes out of the sunny state of Florida. On July 13, 2003, Metallica played the Citrus Bowl and featured classic hits like 'Master of Puppets' and 'Creeping Death,' but also displayed their brand new tunes (at that time) 'St. Anger' and 'Frantic.'

Both tunes from 2003's 'St. Anger' were first performed on May 3 of the same year as this download in Universal City, Calif.

For comedy fans, the Citrus Bowl has become synonymous with hilarious football antics as it was the stadium used for Adam Sandler's 1998 film, 'The Waterboy.' The Citrus Bowl also holds a special place in the hearts of the members of Metallica. More than 11 years earlier, the band brought their stadium tour to the venue along with Guns 'N Roses and Faith No More on Sept. 2, 1992. To date, these are the only two times Metallica have played shows at the Citrus Bowl in Orlando, Fla.

Opening with 'Battery' and going through tracks like 'Welcome Home (Sanitarium)' and 'Blackened,' this download from 2003 proves to be worth your time and focus. Oh, and did we mention you can download all the tracks for free?
