‘The Ultimate Metallica Show': Celebrating ‘If Darkness Had a Son,’ ‘Master of Puppets’ + More
This past weekend we had a lot to celebrate on The Ultimate Metallica Show.
First of all, we cranked up several live performances from Metallica's 2006 performance of Master of Puppets. Then, we traveled back to San Francisco in 1986 to hear from Cliff Burton's first-ever live show with Metallica.
That was just the first hour.
In the second half of the show, we wished Lou Reed and Jason Newsted a happy birthday, and of course we had to celebrate the three greatest words in the world: Brand. New. Metallica.
