Metallica Perform ‘Harvester of Sorrow’ and ‘Creeping Death’ at Voodoo – Video of the Week
How often do Metallica fans get to take a step backstage and hang with the band as they rehearse before a live show? Thanks to Metallica's official YouTube channel, it's easier than you think.
In the band's live footage taken from the Voodoo festival in New Orleans, they give fans an extra treat, video of their pre-show rehearsal which includes practice sessions of 'Holier Than Thou' and 'All Nightmare Long.' Both songs were performed at Voodoo.
It's a rare chance to see Metallica in an intimate setting like a rehearsal, and it's awesome to see the guys work together to make sure they're as tight as possible. In addition to the behind-the-scenes footage, Metallica also give fans the chance to relive their experience at the Voodoo fest with performances of 'Harvester of Sorrow' and 'Creeping Death.' Before 'Creeping Death,' which was the first song of the encore, Metallica give a shout-out to Green Day and jam on the band's hit song, 'American Idiot.'
