‘Sleep and Dream of This': Metallica Unveil Two More Live Videos From Brazil, ‘Cyanide’ + ‘Fade to Black’
"I've gotta tell you I wasn't feeling very good before I came out here."
James Hetfield shared those vulnerable words with tens of thousands of fans at Metallica's final South American show of 2022 in Belo Horizonte, Brazil, on May 12. As he said the words, he was greeted with support not only from the crowd, but from his bandmates, too.
"I talked to these guys, and they helped me—as simple as that," he said about his 'Tallica brothers. "They gave me a hug and said, 'Hey, if you're struggling on stage, we've got your back.' And I tell you, it means the world to me."
As you can hear from the full show over at LiveMetallica.com and nugs.net, Hetfield and company sounded great, regardless of any insecurities he may have faced before showtime. Now, not only can you hear how good the band sounded, but you can see it, too, thanks to two brand-new live videos from that gig at Estádio do Mineirão.
Metallica recently shared their performance of "Fight Fire With Fire," and then not long after, they released their live rendition of Death Magnetic's crushing "Cyanide"—check it out below.
