In the pursuit of maintaining their status as the greatest rock and roll band of all time, Metallica are currently in the process of creating their first 3D movie. For a band that has created its own two-day music festival, it only makes sense that they set their sights on Hollywood as their next target of dominance.

The 3D movie will feature footage of Metallica performing live. The first two shows that were filmed took place in Edmonton, Alberta, on Aug. 17-18. A week later, Metallica hit the road to get even more footage for the film, this time performing in Vancouver, B.C.

Metallica recently released the first two shows of the three performed in Vancouver on LiveMetallica.com. Check out the set lists below and get ready for Metallica in 3D!
